The 2024 Calendar is inspired by the design of Kunstnijverheidsschool Quellinus calendars. I selected and adapted my favourite pattern featuring butterflies and made this annual calendar for 2024.
Compared with the 2023 calendar which themed Theo van Hoytema, the structure is clearer, and the hyperlink system is more efficient and user friendly. The main components still include cover page, annual calendar, monthly calendar, and daily to-do-list page. There is also a note and travel plan section.
As most pdf editor on iPad starts to charge for membership, I will start looking for other ways of presenting digital calendars.
Travelling more is my personal ambition for 2024 and beyond. Thus I added a “travel plan” section, including maps of each continent and the world map. The map itself is blank with very thin boarders, this is designed for written inputs.
Other patterns can be found on Rijksmuseum. Below are a few examples.
